What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy? Really.. I don’t have time for much… I work our ranch… ride colts.. I used to like to ride cutting horses…  I really liked that.. But like I said I don’t have much time.. Basketball sometimes…

What is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo? Have you ever seen the Flint Rasmussen act?  He’s so funny.. He does this bit about a Cell Phone..  He will pretend he’s taking someones phone away in the audience and throw it in the arena. And he’ll dare the lady to go and get it during the Steer Wrestling and Bull Riding… When in fact..  It’s a dummy phone… The ladies are crying, mad, upset….  Its funny… Then at the end…  He’ll pull their phone out of his pocket..

What advice would you give to Indian youth who wanted to participate in rodeo but didn’t have the resources or support to get involved?  Resources are great… Effort is what is gonna get you somewhere…  You can have all the money you want… But pure effort and the “Want to win “ will make you a winning cowboy… Get a good teacher for your chosen event and use that EFFORT… you’ll do well in rodeo.

Are their any songs that inspire or pump you up before you ride or rope? No…  I try to mellow out some before I wrestle a steer… You can get all pumped up or too pumped up and miss you move…  I like to listen to “Radio Head”   They are a mellow rock group

What would you like to see more of at Rodeos? A more intelligent way of making us look and sound at the rodeos.  There’s more to rodeo then us- Being Gypsies/Bumms/ unintelligent people.  I don’t particularly like the racial remarks of the contestants-  My traveling partner Clint Bruised Head is very proud of his heritage.  I admire Clint…  But the racial remarks are not good… We need to be fair and more selective in vocabulary during rodeos… 95% of us have college degree’s..  Lets drop the stereo-type of the  rodeo cowboy.

What Indian Cowboy or Cowgirl has influenced you to rodeo? My family are all into ranching and quarter horses… Clint Bruised Head, and other toughs I rodeo with…
