When did you start an interest in rodeo? - I started roping at the age of 10, and I roped up til I joind the Pro’s in 1980

What other sports do you enjoy other then Rodeo? – First of all I love to Hunt, So Hunting would be my favorite thing to do other then rodeo; And I really like to play basketball.

What are your favorite pastimes while your traveling between rodeos?-  I’m a movie “Buff”  I like to go see a good movie to pass time or just hanging out with my traveling partners.

What advice would you give to Indian Youth whom wanted to get started in rodeo, and don’t have the influence? -  Get an Idol, find someone you want to mold your roping style after, go to a “Good” School, and practice… practice … practice…

Are there any songs that pump you up before you ride or rope?-  Not really! I listen to rock when we have to travel far or all night , and we listen to Hip-Hop on occasions, but we have our Country  music also!

What would you like to see more at the rodeos?  More money!  It takes just as much money for a Team Roper to get to a rodeo as a Calf roper…   I think there should be more money added to the Team Roping…  Although they (PRCA) have gotten a lot better.

Do you have a favorite Movie?-  No favorite movies,  I like a lot of Westerns, Sports movies-  I liked that movie “ Remember the Titans”  Depends on the mood…

What is your most memorable run?-  I made a run of 3.8 in Spanish Fork, Utah.  We have the arena record for quite a spell.   And I guess… “Winning the World”

Whom is your all time hero?- I have a lot of Heros-  I’d have to say “ Leo Camarillo”  He started me in the PRCA, And I’d have to say Clay O’Brian-Cooper, Rich Skelton, Allen Bach…  And the “Christian Cowboys”  We are all doing things in a positive manner and “we try to do the right things”.

What Cowboy influenced you to rodeo?- “Walker Vivian” from Oklahoma  He helped me get started…  He helped me get started riding and roping..  Roping came easy for me… I guess I was lucky!

Would you like to thank your sponsors?  I sure would…   First of all Wrangler, Cook Saddlry, Reise Ranch, Quick Silver Chutes

Indian Rodeo News would like to thank Tee Woolman and his family for this interview, and we wish you the Best in Rodeo!
