Condolences to the Sonny Jim family and friends. I was fortunate to have meant him, buy him a beer and to let him know we as kids use to imitate his riding when playing rodeo. We looked up to him. He seemed to enjoy the comment. God Bless you Sonny Jim.

In Loving Memory of Sonny Jim, a Legendary Cowboy. Sonny Jim, was a kind, thoughtful Cowboy, any one who got the change to talk with him know this. Sonny Jim is the definition of Rodeo Family Comrade; Sonny Jim… he played a bull doggers game, and snared in the eyes of those who did’nt completely believe in him. He made Rodeo his life, (living a life of family & ranching) and Rodeo will miss his presence. Sonny Jim, is a true Cowboy… honest, humble, generous and caring. One among the toughest. He will be missed greatly. Our Lord in Heaven most certainly has a place in Heaven for this man. Deepest sympathies to his wife & his family, Lord God be with you all now and forever… and also with you - - all our rodeo friends, take care see ya down the road. “Life is’nt about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning to dance in the rain.”

ITS A HEARTBREAKER TO HEAR ABOUT THE TRATEGY THAT HAS HAPPENED TO LEGENDARY SONNY JIM. AN ACT OF CRUELITY HAS GONE BEYOND MEASURE BY TAKING THE LIFE OF A GREAT MAN. VERY UNFORTUNATE. I WILL REMEMBER HIM BY HIS BLACK HAT, RAPPED SHOULDER, HIS CIGAR, AND THE SMILE ON HIS FACE WHEN HE DID WHAT HE LOVED MOST. GOD BLESS SONNY JIM AND HIS FAMILY. HE SURELY WILL BE MISSED AMONG HIS RODEO FAMILY.
