Recently we received a book purchased from Amazon titled  "Riders of the West"   Portraits From Indian Rodeo
this book all 120 pages tells the true story of Indian rodeo life. The forward written by Carolyn O. Buffalo, who is a professional competitor and comes from a well known rodeo family in Alberta.  She recognizes the Indian National Finals Rodeo it's history, it's champions,
and all of the commissioners through out the years who gave their dedication to keep the spirit of the sport of Indian rodeo at a national level.    This book also has several photographs taken by Linda MacCannel at various Indian rodeos from the Canada Day rodeo in Morley to the Inter-tribal Ceremonial rodeo in Church Rock New Mexico.  For those of you who are fans of Indian rodeo, we suggest you purchase this book.  Click on the link above to Amazon for more information, this book is currently on sale!
